Some fresh and freshened stuff posted on the 3rd party content forum at S397 which may be of interest to us, all of it from Slow Motion:
GP3 Series 2016-2017: https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/gp3-series-2016-2017-build-1-0.56012/
This is a gorgeous little open wheeler with a DRS rear wing that makes it an odd challenge. 3 de-activation options.
BMW E90 WTCC '06-'08 build 1.27: https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/bmw-e90-wtcc-06-08-build-1-27.47808/
This was a blast to drive in its previous iteration. That was prior to all the good stuf ISI and S397 introduced in the last 18 months, chassis flex, cpm, DX11, etc.. However, SlowMo's  goal was to preserve the feel and handling balance, so if he got it right, this one of THE mods for close racing.
Formula BMW v1.19: https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/formula-bmw-1-19.53658/
The venerable FBMW is updated for DX11 with V1.19. That is the extent of the update since v1.16.
Volkswagen Fun Cup 2006 (iDT) v1.07: https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/volkswagen-funcup-2006-idt-1-07.55887/
This mod dates back to rF1 days and SloMo updated it for rF2 and DX11. I can't remember how it drove then and haven't yet tried this yet either. Could be good for a laugh if nothing else. An old Beetle could test the limits of rF2's chassis flex...man, I would love to see it shudder over some curbs.
Predator's Formula Promotion 1.1: https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/predators-formula-promotion-1-1.53771/
Again this update is almost entirely a DX11 update. Lots of fun on really short tracks or short layouts of bigger tracks.

Edit for anyone referring back to this post:  Slow Motion has DX11 updates to 2 of his oldest mods on the agenda: the Peugeot Sport 207s2000, a tribute to a close friend who passed away a little over a year and half ago, is pending release soon and the mod that was (I think) his debut rf2 mod, the Abarth Fiat 500/695 will be next. https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/peugeot-sport-207s2000.51213/page-2#post-900297

If you don't have the track already I recommend you download from steam ---> http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=892454354

the getmod takes quite some time.

CHANGED:  Server set to Sao Paulo with the LMP2's in mixed conditions rain.

Again, the preferred way to get the content for racing is through Steam Workshop.  :)
